Thanks for posting those links!  It's always amazing thinking about the care and technique that goes into a kimono.  It makes one want to know the story behind every garment.

Also, I was looking at the books for basic kitsuke, and I believe that &#32178;&#37326; = Amino, instead of Amano. =)</description>

		<description>Thanks for posting these - what a treat!  I loved the obijime (kumihimo) video - particularly the shots of the older man and woman weaving an obijime together.  It's like watching a concerto for two harps.  Now I will regard all my obijime with new respect!</description>
