Still here
Thanks to everyone for your emails - and sorry if I haven’t replied to you yet, I will!
Some visitors have noticed that I haven’t updated in a while. That and my tardy replies to email have a simple explanation: the last two months of my life have been overwhelming. Although things are going fine overall, the best way I can describe it without writing a book (which, in fact, I have, for my real-life diary has had 350 pages filled in these last two months) is that it has to do with everything, and my entire life is changing from bottom to top, with no guarantees whatsoever as to the outcome.
So I ask for your patience - I have all sorts of things planned for my website, and I will start posting again regularly someday (soon, I hope).

Hi! I wrote to you recently and I completely understand about being too busy to update your website. I’m in the same boat. But I thought you might like to see pictures of the kimono I recently purchased for a price that would make you pass out from the cheapness of it. It’s a vintage one and so beautiful. I just about passed out from sheer excitement.

I do know how it is to be busy with work (and how much work site updating can be!), so I’m not going to exhort you to update the Kimono subsite.
Really, I’m not.
But I do want you to know how much sheer JOY you have given me with your kimono pages, how incredibly helpful your kitsuke section has been to me as a newbie juban-and-kimono wearer.
Furthermore, I wish to convey the fact that I will sing Sweet Hallelujah (in a very squeaky soprano) on that happy day when you do get round to adding to your kimono site.
In the meantime, just out of curiosity… are you still buying/acquiring kimono? And do you get a chance to wear them out?
