There is a really nice kimono blog on wordpress with lots of information and pictures. I especially like this one about dressing up obis http://wafuku.wordpress.com/2011/01/26/get-creative-dress-up-your-obi/ and this blog post about modern use of haoris http://wafuku.wordpress.com/2010/06/07/haori-session-the-versatile-kimono-jackets-photo-shoot/
They also have a separate website that has a brilliant glossary of Japanese/English terms and lots of kimonoinfo. There's links to the site on that blog.
